The original concept of Outdoor Woman Magazine was to publish a small, regional magazine for women in the northwestern United States, primarily Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Our five-year plan included expansion into 12 western states, possibly even the Midwest. Once the word started leaking out about our project, we began receiving e-mails from women all over the country requesting subscription information. Before the first issue was even printed, over 200 women were on our subscription reservation list. We obviously lost control—in such a good way! Now our readers represent 38 states and 3 countries! This number increases almost weekly. Women LOVE Outdoor Woman Magazine!
